With just over thirty-two years of operational history and over one hundred years of combined staffing experience; Fhrx Studios Pty Ltd is a niche high-end multimedia specialist company that only undertakes high quality installations. During our tenure we’ve established ourselves as a major player in the Australian market when it comes to superb quality products and absolutely meticulous workmanship above all else. Not only pertaining to sales and installation but many other facets as well including lecturing and teaching, testing and evaluating; all the way through to engineering and developmental work performed in conjunction with various manufactures and designers.
Choosing deliberately to remain relatively small in size; we only having a few full time staff members. That said we do utilise numerous highly skilled and professional contractors throughout many different industries to get the absolute best job done.
All of our staff are qualified at numerous skills and have undergone multiple training courses both here and overseas such as Rockford Fosgate’s Top Gun Training Institute or RTTI, Alpine’s Global Alpine Institute of Technology or GAIT, Directed’s Snakepit course, Mobile Dynamics and many others. Our fitters are qualified in hands on trades such as fitting and machining, CAD/CAM (computer aided design, drawing and drafting), metallurgy, woodworking, fibreglassing, electrical and welding just to mention a few. Add to this the fact that all our staff are certified IASCA and MEASQ judges, we have quite a formidable skill set when it comes to anything Automotive.
Another vitally important skill set is that most of us are musicians. Between our staff we play a variety of instruments and are of the opinion that you should have a strong interest in such things. After all, why would one want to take up a job in the field of reproducing music if they did not fully appreciate how it works and should sound?
System design and equipment choice is no easy task these days and we pride ourselves on our knowledge and experience when it comes to designing and setting up the optimum system. We give you useful and honest advice without the attempts to make a quick buck off a relatively novice car audio enthusiast.
Last but not least; as aforementioned we’re constantly testing, auditioning and evaluating products in order to produce technical articles and reviews aplenty for various publications both online and in print. This allows us to evaluate the latest products on the market, including many we don’t hold accounts for. Therefore when we’re recommending the best products, you can be assured they’re not just products we sell.
Here at Fhrx Studios we’re not limited to supplying and installing multimedia products. Between us and our diverse affiliates we’re able to modify and install just about anything your imagination can conjure up, and perhaps even things you cannot. In house here we offer a whole gambit of services ranging from design, fabrication and installation right through to testing, tuning and tweaking. Not only on cars either, we also work on boats, planes, forklifts, bikes; you name it and we’ll install a stereo in it!

Fhrx Studios believes in two principles above all others; quality of workmanship and customer care. We take the necessary time to complete installs neatly, safely and correctly. We’re not a cheap or fast company and will never been known as one. We pride ourselves on the care taken when dealing with customer’s rides. Please do not ask us to undertake cheap or hasty work. We utilise numerous proven methods in ensuring the customer gets exactly what they desire with no damage to their vehicle.
Proven Methods Before The Install:
- Meeting with customers beforehand in order to discuss their needs and desires, and to run them through an Acoustic Garage session. Click for explanation.
- Designing systems with customers so they get just the right system.
- Explaining to customers exactly what work is going to be undertaken.

- Driving customers to home or work upon their dropping off of their car.

- We can organise a hire car to be here upon drop-off. When you return we take car of the hire car for you.

- Taking hundreds of digital photos and emailing them to customers as we’re working, this allows you to monitor the work as it progresses.
- Soldering and heatshrinking all source unit cables rather than simple cheap electrical tape. Click for photos.

- Choosing correct grommet and spacers when passing cables through metal. Click for photos.

This is because we undertake jobs aplenty offsite ranging from mobile automotive installs through to marine installs and home theatre installation.
