ATI – Making Aural Dreams Reality
Though Alta Tecnologia Italiana, known acronymically simply as ATI; was born in the late eighties in Italy its beginnings actually stem from far earlier. Founder, owner and general manager Giovanni d’Albertis founded Industria Italiana Alta Fedeltà, a high fidelity Italian company manufacturing car and home audio products in 1979. After ten years manufacturing said products Mr d’Albertis felt the need to pursue and research new materials and technologies to set new frontiers within the audio industry, hence he founded ATI.

Many of the products designed and engineered by Mr. d’Albertis remained at the prototype stage, as can happen as someone is searching for new and unique features. Nonetheless the first ATI products began hitting the market in March 1990 and to say their performance shocked people is an understatement. Rarely before ATI had companies’ constructed entire lines using Neodymium, Strontium and Alnico magnets to provide a greater magnetic field conducive to better control. Nor materials such as carbon fiber, polymers and Nomex throughout their product ranges.

Mr. Giovanni d’Albertis enjoyed great success with these innovative products, and to this day ATI is still setting benchmarks in speaker technology that are leaving many other alleged premium manufacturers wanting.
