Atoll – The Creation Of Electronic Art
Atoll Electronique, a company more commonly know simply as Atoll; was founded in September 1997 by Stéphane & Emmanuel Dubreuil. During this period these astute designers observed a certain lack of audiophile products at affordable prices. Sure there were the uber expensive products, and of course there were entry level products aplenty. However there was little that was genuinely high-end yet affordable for everyday people. Armed with a plan this team established Atoll Electronique in Brécey, Normandy. The company’s mission to this day remains to create, develop and provide a line of integrated electronic devices that are incredibly musical, reliable, customisable and above all; actually affordable.
