Design Ideologies
Accuton’s superb ceramic range of speakers are labelled so for apt reason. It’s no marketing spiel; all these drivers are actually equipped with industrially grown ceramic membranes. Despite it’s light weight ceramic is amongst harder materials on earth, thus making it extremely resistance to any kind of physical deformation. The end result is that these cones are able to reciprocate with absolutely minimal distortion. The motor structure features an extremely strong magnetic field strength and a vented titanium voice coil for highest acceleration and low damping. The result is 91 dB sound pressure at 1 Watt input power with almost undetectable distortion.

Strength And Control
Accuton ceramic drivers are designed to perform transparently, and are developed with the high flux neo overhung motor which allow for long transients without succumbing to axial or radial float.

Compound Woofers With Powermatch Technology
Accuton midbass membranes consist of an extremely hard aluminium-sandwich composition. The motor driving these diaphragms consists of a quad layered dual voice coil, which utilised rectangular cross section wire for maximum electron flow and thermal dissappation. This is all wrapped upon a titanium former. So strong is the motor structure that is can handle a linear driving stroke of +/- 12 mm. A complex adaption of the impedance, aka Powermatch enables the system to achieve a significantly higher performance than conventional systems.
