Master Series – Accuracy Beyond Astounding
Not everyone is looking to be hammered into submission. On the contrary there’s an echelon of discerning audiophiles who desire supreme sound quality above all else. Articulated deep bass, delectably controlled midrange, and supremely accurate highs. Barriers are there to be broken, and budget is of secondary concern. This is the territory of the superb Master series from Audio Dynamics. Developed with every detail heavily scrutinised; the Master drivers are as close to aural perfection and can be found.

Design Ideologies
To achieve the level of perfection required for the Master range, Audio Dynamics teamed up with U.S. speaker engineer Dan Wiggins, an absolute master of his craft. With several patents under his belt during his almost half century tenure, Dan has designed speakers for fortune 500 companies, top quality PA systems, recording engineer’s reference speakers in top studios around the world and high-end microphones used by Grammy award winning musicians. He also personally knows Wolfgang Klippel and was tasked with setting up the very first Klippel in the world!

Audio Dynamics’ superb Master series drivers were designed to shatter the perception of what was thought possible in modern car audio. Designed, developed, manufactured and perfected without the constraints of budget restrictions; the Master series are absolute world leaders in sound quality, displaying industry leading performance no matter what is asked of them.

A Solid Foundation
The Master series M10 subwoofer is a shallow mount, high stroke, low distortion subwoofer. Using a flat composite fiber cone with a dual gap magnetic structure, the M10 yields 30 mm of peak to peak linear excursion and 50 mm peak to peak mechanical excursion in a package with a 3.9375″ / 100 mm mounting depth. The 2.5″ / 63.5 mm diameter voice coil with aluminum former ensures high power handling.

Advanced Diaphragm
The M10 flat cone is a composite of three different fibers with a proprietary structural core. These four layers are laminated together with a high-strength resin that is vacuum impregnated into the assembly. The result is a very strong but light cone, so that rocking modes are reduced but cone flexion is eliminated.

Immense Tesla
The M10 uses a Y35 grade ferrite magnet. With the machined 1010 grade steel for the yoke and washers, the resulting in-gap field strength is 0.8 Tesla. Combined with the four layer copper voice coil, the resulting BL is over 20!

Rock Solid Design
The 24 mm thick dual gap top plate assembly features a 10 mm tall and 5.7 mm deep rebate. This allows for extended travel and greatly flattened BL motor force over its entire stroke. The rebate is filled with a 3 mm thick aluminum ring to reduce inductance to just 0.7 mH, resulting in usable bandwidth to 2000 Hz, for exceptional transient performance.
