Design Ideologies
Audiofrog’s superb GS8ND2 subwoofer is a shallow mount design which can be installed into sealed enclosures as small as 0.25 cubic feet, or vented enclosures as small as 0.5 cubic feet. This makes these drivers perfect for under-seat boxes in trucks. It can also be used as a replacement for many factory-installed 8″ subwoofers in enclosures or mounted in an infinite baffle, especially shelves.

Subsonic Bass Where There Is None
For cars with no factory fitted subwoofer the GS8ND2 makes a perfect companion to build that subsonic foundation. For when installed discreetly in the doors, boot or rear shelf of your vehicle and thence combined with a solid front end; the GS8ND2 will fill out the bottom end of the sound, making for a brilliant aural foundation for which the rest of your system can build upon.

The GS8ND2 features a shallow fiberglass cone and a compact but powerful neodymium magnet, dual 2 Ohm voice coils, a nitrile butadiene rubber surround and a flat Nomex™ spider. With a mounting depth of just over 3″ / 76.2 mm, the GS8ND2 fits many applications that a standard 8″ subwoofer simply won’t.
