Design Ideologies
Plenty of power and sensitivity; that’s the mantra behind this design, and especially designed for 24 Volt applications like trucks and recreational vehicles. The P TWO 24 V combines two talents in a unique way. Due to its power output power of 2 x 490 watts into 2 Ohms, this compact amplifier can drive even the most demanding subwoofers without aplomb. The technical design is literally designed for any woofers of any shape and type.
However despite its sheer force, the P TWO 24 V is by no means a pure subwoofer amplifier. On the contrary, the ultrahigh definition class D concept combines an extended frequency response above 40000 Hz with high damping factor, minimal distortion and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. This amplifier is therefore the perfect buddy for heavy duty front speakers in audiophile system designs
Ultra High-Definition Class D Amplifier Technology
Compared to conventional class D amps this concept achieves an extended frequency response to more than 40000 Hz, in combination with reduced distortion thanks to an advanced integrated feedback design. Ultrahigh-definition class D achieves outstanding class AB like sound quality combined with the efficiency of a class D amplifier.
Start-Stop Capability
The switched power supply of the P TWO 24 V assures a constant internal supply voltage even if the battery’s voltage drops to six volts during engine cranking.
High Resolution Signal Converters
For the optical input the P TWO 24 V uses a high-class DA signal converter of the latest generation, boasting a native resolution of 32-bit instead of the common 24-bit. The result is an unprecedented precision in signal conversion that especially optimizes the sound quality at lower signal levels.
Smart High-Level Input ADEP
Modern factory installed audio systems incorporate sophisticated abilities that diagnose all connected speakers. Latest generations of cars are equipped with additional monitoring functions so that failure messages and loss of specific features such as parking sensor and lane departure warnings often appear if a signal processor is plumbed in. Not with the P TWO though. The new ADEP circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection, 3rd Generation) avoids all these problems without loading the speaker outputs of the OEM radio during high volumes unnecessarily.
Ready For 24 Volts
It is possible to operate the P TWO 24 V with a supply voltage of 24 Volts, say for example many trucks and recreational vehicles; without the need to make any changes to the unit. This guarantees maximum flexibility for numerous applications.
