Design Ideologies
The high quality subwoofers within Hertz’s HMS range are designed to meet the high-stress requirements found on the open waters. On-board sound systems are subjected to severe environmental effects including saltwater, rain, direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations. All components in the HMS range are therefore put through stringent tests under the most extreme conditions to check their resistance to these elements. This results in an unmatched and long-term durable sound experience bringing your music perfectly on the water.
Enjoyment Aplenty
The new HMS range of marine subwoofers are optimised to perform in closed or open baffle applications for deep and punchy bass. They’re available in either 2 Ohm or 4 Ohm single voice coil versions, featuring an imprresive continuous power handling ability. The motor and suspension design is optimized for high-power operations, and feature a long linear excursion capability for tremendous output with low distortion. Hertz Marine subwoofers not only add tons of bass output to your system but also relieve the main speakers from the hard work of reproducing the lowest frequency range, thus maximizing overall system performance for unlimited sound pressure and emotion!

Options Aplenty And Nightmarish Model Codes
Like so many marine ranges these components are available in various colours and style configurations; conducive to creating part numbers from hell. We’ve tried to make some sense of it below; please specify when ordering if you require a different variant to the primary title above.
– HMS 10 S2 LD G – grey sports grille, LED backlit. Singe 2 Ohm, for sealed enclosure applications.
– HMS 10 S4 LD G – grey sports grille, LED backlit. Single 4 Ohm, for sealed enclosure applications.
– HMS 10 S2 LD SW – white sports grille, LED backlit. Single 2 Ohm, for sealed enclosure applications.
– HMS 10 S4 LD SW – white sports grille, LED backlit. Single 4 Ohm, for sealed enclosure applications.
– HMS 10 B2 LD W – white outer grille, LED backlit. Single 2 Ohm, for infinite baffle applications.
– HMS 10 B4 LD W – white outer grille, LED backlit. Single 4 Ohm, for infinite baffle applications.
– HMS 10 B2 LD C – charcoal outer grille, LED backlit. Single 2 Ohm, for infinite baffle applications.
– HMS 10 B4 LD C – charcoal outer grille, LED backlit. Single 4 Ohm, for infinite baffle applications.
The code letters stand for:
– W = white in colour.
– C = charcoal (i.e. black) in colour.
– G = grey in colour. This is a base colour for custom painting.
– S = for sealed enclosure applications.
– B = for infinite baffle applications.
