Design Ideologies
The high quality speakers within Hertz’s HMX range are designed to meet the high-stress requirements found on the open waters. On-board sound systems are subjected to severe environmental effects including saltwater, rain, direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations. All components in the HMX range are therefore put through stringent tests under the most extreme conditions to check their resistance to these elements. This results in an unmatched and long-term durable sound experience bringing your music perfectly on the water.
Enjoyment Aplenty
The HMX 6.5 high performance marine coaxial speakers, available in the black option and with various grille types; is optimised to perform in an infinite baffle arrangement. This allows them to return a solid bass and an outstanding output. The tweeter feature an acoustic lens optimized for best off-axis dispersion and maximised sound pressure. The attractive stainless steel tweeter mesh grille provides perfect high-frequency transfer and a rock-solid protection. The UV resistant polypropylene cone co-molded with Santoprene rubber surround together with the basket and grille injected with a Hi-temperature and UV resistant polymer neutralize water, dust and mud. The aramid fiber spider with silicone-insulated lead wires ensures durability and constant performance over time. The high-excursion mobile equipment is driven by a massive magnetic group, to deliver high undistorted sound pressure.
