Design Ideologies
The European Champions Limited series, known simply as E.C. Limited; feature enhanced sound quality specifications based on the Sinfoni Arpeggio series. All the E.C. Limited range speakers are designed and produced in Italy. The main upgrades are an enhanced voice coil, improved diaphragm materials and strengthening of the magnetic circuit; thus delivering an even greater performance to the already well-established sound response and driving power of the Arpeggio drivers. For this final and perfected evolution of the constantly evolving E.C. Limited series; Sinfoni engineers aimed to create the ultimate in sound quality.

The Smaller Sibling
The TW 28 E.C. is a 1.1″ silk dome tweeter featuring a 28 mm CCAW single layer voice coil combining light weight, stability at lower frequencies and total absence of musical transients compression.

An extremely powerful high grade neodymium magnet provides serious force across the magnetic gap for superb dynamic response and very low distortion in the whole frequency range.

The 30 mm natural silk dome is optimised with extensive material characterization, laser vibrometer scanning and finite element analysis methods for a smooth and extended response. It’s frequency response is such that its optimised for off-axis installation. A full solid metal case structure keeps everything rigid, with each part exclusively designed and produced for the Apreggio range.

Filling Out The Middle
The MD 110 E.C. 4″ midrange features a 25 mm voice coil constructed from copper clad aluminum ribbon wound with flat wire to maximise the force factor and heat dissipation. A high grade neodymium magnet surrounds the voice coil to obtain superior control of the moving parts and create superior thermal stability. The motor geometry designed using finite element simulation software to optimise efficiency by concentrating the magnetic field in the gap.

The membrane is made of a hybrid fibreglass weave; a lightweight but low distortion material that frequency response is very flat. The geometry of this membrane is designed by simulation software to obtain homogeneous dispersion and directivity. The midrange is optimised using extensive software simulations to avoid any cone and surround break-up and to align the motors response at medium frequencies.

The basket is made of a single piece of die-cast aluminum with four pairs of spokes for maximum rigidity and aerodynamic transparency. The suspension and spider with very high excursion, optimized with simulations of the multi-physical behavior of the speaker.

Bringing The Kick
The MW 165 E.C. 6.5″ midbass driver features a 38 mm voice coil constructed from copper clad aluminum ribbon, wound with flat wire to maximise the force factor and heat dissipation. Low inductance of the voice coil serves to optimise the movement in the medium to higher frequency ranges.

A high grade magnet with superb thermal stability guarantees optimal dynamic performance in every demanding situation. The magnetic group geometry is designed using finite element simulation software which allows the magnet to maximise efficiency by concentrating its magnetic field into the voice coil gap.

The membrane geometry is also designed by simulation software to obtain homogeneous response and linearity. This geometry also creates a smooth dispersion over all the listening angles.

The basket is made of a single piece of die-cast aluminum featuring four pairs of spokes to optimize heat transfer, nullify turbulent air flows and ensure maximum structural rigidity.

The suspension features a high excursion spider and surround, optimised with simulations of the loudspeakers physical behavior under duress.
