The need for a high-voltage source to drive aftermarket power amplifiers is as important as ever. High performance car audio amplifiers require plenty of clean undistorted signal voltage in order to achieve maximum performance. Shockingly many of today’s aftermarket source units do not produce the proper signal voltage levels needed. Some of the best units are only rated for four Volts RMS and most can barely even produce that.
