Improved Components
The latest version has far improved woofers with a diaphragm made of magnesium silicate polymer (MSP) material and a coil with an impedance of 3 Ohms. This, together with high real sensitivity; allows the speakers to be connected to factory head units or less powerful amplifiers. The tweeter has also been upgraded, now using its own patented matrix alloy dome diaphragm made of magnesium and aluminum alloy for even more detailed sound delivery and an extended high-frequency response.
Middle Brilliance – The Aries SK320 NEO Midranges
The superb Aries series SK320 NEO features a hybrid polymer cone; an advanced material known for its excellent stiffness, very light weight and minimal vibration. This allows for accurate and natural sound reproduction over a wide azimuth. Other advantages include its strong internal design being conducive to minimal vibration arising from the movement of the membrane, which is also assisted by the durable rubber and polycotton suspension ensuring optimal damping and lateral stability. The suspension also eliminates movements that could cause contact with the voice coil extremely strong neodymium magnet. The frame is aerodynamically transparent, minimising how much it interferes with back-wave airflow. Cooling hasn’t been overlooked either, with the motor housing designed to dissipate heat away from the oscillating coil most effectively.
