Prima Series – Clandestine Component Upgrades

Reflex Loading
The APBX 8 R loaded enclosure was developed with reflex loading, with tuning designed to concentrate sound pressure levels around the lowest frequency ranges. The aim was to exploit the natural boost in output found in most cars below 60 Hz known as cabin gain. The single 4 ohm voice coil 8″ subwoofer has a powerful motor that maximizes efficiency. The low-resonant frequency of the subwoofer, matched to the reflex enclosure keeps excursion low within the entire audio spectrum.

Thanks to the 2S² dual-orientation design, these enclosures can be installed in downwards or upwards firing configuration; thus adapting to available space and acoustic goals.
