Unlike many manufacturers today, those who aim to squeeze as much power as possible from their amplifiers with little concern for longevity; DLS engineers opted to produce a four channel class AB power amplifier with a six channel digital signal processor. Signal processing and amplification are housed in a single chassis, with a focus on the typical DLS character; warm, natural sound with low listening fatigue.

The Heart Within
A 24 bit / 192 kHz Cirrus Logic platform handles the processing. Each channel can be adjusted with a 31 band equaliser, flexible crossover filters and time alignment in small incremental steps. This provides the tools needed to correct speaker response, deal with the car interior and establish a stable centre image at the listening position.

Clean Integration
The design is built to integrate cleanly with modern OEM systems. A multi-channel high-level input with smart load circuitry presents a suitable load to factory head units with impedance monitoring. Whilst additional inputs include RCA, optical digital and Bluetooth 5.1 for maximum interconnection flexibility. Six processed RCA outputs are available for external amplifiers. Configuration is carried out via a Windows based USB interface, with up to ten presets able to be stored in the internal memory.
