Design Ideologies
Experience top sound in the entry-level class with the newly developed PRA cone technology! The rib-stiffened, paper-fiberglass composite cone is a real highlight and another Eton milestone in cone development. It is particularly light and also particularly rigid; both of which are critical requirements for a good loudspeaker. Thanks to the rib stiffening, maximum torsional rigidity has been achieved. This ensures ultra-dynamic and powerful bass reproduction, extremely precise and to the point. The PRA series impresses with its warm, full-bodied sound character, rich vocals and incredible spatial depth!

High Frequency Champion
The hidden champion in the PRA range is the newly developed aluminium tweeter with fabric surround. This new design will easily impress with particularly silky, nuanced and brilliant high-frequency reproduction as never before heard! The integrated damping pad with the specially applied coating provide a full warm and controlled tweeter enjoyment and handles all back waves. The thermally efficient voice coil provides significantly more energy and level in the lower frequency range, allowing for deeper separation and better coupling to the mid-bass driver.

Ferrite Magnet System
A powerful magnet, ferrite provides full control over all aspects of the moving motor. Ferrite magnets are characterised by their high flux strength and optimal magnetic field symmetry.

Advanced Basket Design
Increased stability with minimal weight, the frame is powder-coated to resist corrosion. It’s physical shape is meticulously designed for maximum heat dissipation and air flow, and vastly reduced mechanical resonance.

Optimised Magnetic Field Symmetry
Many factors during the production of a speaker chassis subsequently result in symmetry of the magnetic field. It is a combination of the pole plate, the actual magnet and the T-yoke as well as their properties in size, magnetic strength and the precision; and of course how they’re put together. Eton has optimised this process and with the highest precision to achieve the best performance.

Optimsed Cooling System
The T-yoke has been specially designed to absorb and effectively dissipate heat generated by the motor system, flowing a generous zephyr through a large core bore vent and specially designed perimeter ventilation ducts; all without creating any flow noise.

Made In Germany
Eton has been developing and testing loudspeakers for over 35 years. It’s all but perfected the art of loudspeaker design, it’s manufacturing process and developmental acumen playing a central role in this.
