Midrange And Subwoofer In One – The Best Of Both Worlds
The i5 series S200FM is a 8″ / 200 mm hybrid speaker, one which can strike the perfect balance between a mid-woofer driver and a subwoofer. It’s exceptionally high excursion, serious power handling and impressive output volume make it a difficult option to surpass. It boasts a linear excursion of just under +/- 8 mm meaning it consistently delivers controlled and clear low-frequency reproduction, even at high sound pressure levels and low frequencies. The aim was to develop a speaker that works perfectly in locales like under BMW seats and in the bulkheads of Mercedes’ without any compromises, despite the extremely low installation depth. Thanks to the FlexMount technology the S200FM can be integrated comfortably to allow it’s design to open up endless low frequency possibilities.

High-Tech Polymer Basket
All Compose series speaker baskets are made of a high-tech polymer composite, which has been additionally reinforced with glass spheres. The result is maximum stability with minimal self-resonance, while also eliminating flux modulation of the magnetic system and offering maximum resistance to thermal influences. Last but not least, this design allows for much more compact basket dimensions hence simplified installations in cramped and austere conditions.

FlexMount – Universal Meets Car Specific
FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings, allowing the installation of all Compose speakers into an almost infinite number of vehicles. Thus the universal loudspeaker effortlessly becomes a vehicle-specific loudspeaker, that can be easily installed in the original installation position of the vehicle in an acoustically optimized way with the matching FlexMount adapter ring.
