The second generation of Mosconi Pico amplifiers, the Pico V2; embody the automotive hifi future. The compact housings combine state-of-the-art high-speed digital amplifiers, smart power supplies and innovative DSP functions. This results in high power efficiency, which is a basic requirement for modern and also electric vehicles.
Process Aplenty
The Pico V2 stable includes both single channel mono-blocks and multi-channel designs, with all multi-channel variants being equipped with powerful on-board digital signal processor. These units also offer numerous equipment and expansion options, such as Bluetooth audio streaming in high resolution audio formats.
Non-Destructive Integration
With the optionally available OEM cable sets, a clean, neat and non-destructive integration solution is provided for the installation of a Pico V2 amplifier into your car. The Mosconi engineers have dedicated a fair amount of time and care into designing these units to integrate with modern cars’ delicate electrical systems. This means that not only will they not cause any harm to come to your car’s electrical system, their installation is also fully reversible should you change your vehicle.
Smart Connections
All connections are now on one side and all relevant setting switches required for operation in modern vehicles are located under a magnetic housing cover. Furthermore, all inputs are now high and low level capable. All desired DSP settings can now be made via a USB-C connection.
Perfect OEM Integration
Apart from the subwoofer mono-blocks, all Pico designs feature a powerful DSP and amplifier combination, optimised for use on your factory radio. Multiple analog inputs up to 30 V, flexible routing, multi-channel input EQ, delay, phase, crossovers and other functionality.
The Pico units are ideal for active and semi-active systems, as well as classic front + rear applications. With digital inputs such SPDIF and BT+ and multiple processed line-outs; these units are equipped for all future configurations.
Design Features

– 8 x analog inputs switchable (high level / low level) class SB compatible, 2 V – 30 V.
– 1 x digital input SPDIF optical (8 kHz – 96 kHz sampling rate).
– 1 x digital input coax digital (8 kHz – 96 kHz sampling rate).
– 1 x Bluetooth port with SPDIF – TTL (8 kHz – 96 kHz, e.g. for Mos_BTS streaming module).
– Bluetooth extended digital audio port (BT+) (flexible 8 kHz – 384 kHz synchronous digital input for audio sources with 2 – 16 channels, direct DSP access without jitter, e.g. for MOS BTS-LD4C BT streaming module or extended analog inputs.
– DSP features a 912 MHz, 32-bit audio port, 64-bit core.
– Double precision 56 Bit filter calculation.
– Sample rate of 96 kHz.
– 1 x remote connector (analog, for RTC.2 roti remote control).
– 1 x BT+ control port, affording connection via MOS-BT3.0 (app control), RC-Can (CAN bus control), MOS_USB2.0 (programming dongle), BTS-LD4C high resolution streaming module, gladiator dontroller.
– 1 x remote out, 1 x remote in, auto remote for high level connection.
– Connections with MOLEX® plug contacts.
– Very small size with low heat generation, best suited for installation behind panels.
– The Software features 3 x 9 band parametric input EQ (de-equalizing).
– 6 x input delay 0 – 3 ms / 0.01 ms (de-delay).
– 10 x input level control digital (signal conditioning).
– Flexible mixer for signal routing. Side separated, can sum and subtract, 10 inputs to 4 x 2 output groups.
– 6 x 30 band or 4 x 30 band + 2 x 15 band group EQ. This is parametric, relative phase remains stable.
– 8 x 10 band output filters including high-pass / low-pass / high-shelf / low-shelf / notch / all-pass 1st + 2nd order and speaker-EQ.
– 8 x speaker-delay of 0 – 12 ms, in 0.02 ms steps.
