The name Quartorigo combines two Italian words; those being quarto (fourth) and rigo (line). The fourth line of the musical staff, a staff or staves of course being the five lines musical notation is written on. It's where male and female voices meet, where harmony finds its foundation. The number four itself embodies stability; four seasons, four elements, four compass points.
