Design Ideologies
BLAM’s powerhouse Live range of components are engineered to deliver a perfectly balanced sound across the entire frequency spectrum, bringing out the best in every genre you play. By combining high-quality composite cones with hand coated domes; the range achieves a seamless blend of deep bass, rich midrange and crisp highs. Ergo whether you’re chasing a smooth and warm tone, or a more energetic high-impact sound; the Live range adapt effortlessly. Turning every drive into a refined listening experience.
Designed For Intensity
Designed for those who want more intensity from their system, the Live components takes performance up a notch with their bold, energetic output and powerful low-end response. They’re built to handle everything from hard-hitting rock to bass-heavy electronic tracks, delivering sound that feels alive and immersive. These highly efficient components ensures strong output with excellent clarity, so you get both impact and detail without compromise.
Aural Competency
Consisting of subwoofers, woofers, midranges and tweeters; the Live stable are able to cover a wide frequency range from infrasonics right up to territory whereby dogs get a headache. And because of their enormous power handling ability these components produces dynamic, room-filling sound even at lower power levels.
Built To Last
Built with premium materials and attention to detail, every component is designed for durability and performance. The subwoofers, woofers and midranges feature rigid aluminium baskets, fiberglass-reinforced cones and long-life suspension systems for consistent and controlled bass. The tweeters use efficient neodymium motors for clear, detailed highs. Whilst the adjustable crossovers let you fine-tune the sound to your preference.

Versions And Variants
You might have noticed that there are many different sets within the Live range, often differentiated by a single letter. Ergo let’s run through what they are:
– L165P – this is the power version, with stronger suspension and beefier motor upon the woofer.
– L165A – this is the acoustic version, with gentler suspension and more efficient motor upon the woofer.
– L165LSQ – this is the original version, which is a bit of a misnomer. It should be called the natural version; as it has a special cellulose pulp woofer diaphragm for a warmer and more natural sound.
– L165S – this is the shallow variant, with shallower mounting depth upon the woofer.
– L165C – this is the coaxial version.
